The Egyptian Solar Energy
Society is a non -profit NGO.
Members of the society are persons engaged in industry, development, and utilization of renewable
energy.ESES holds its Trio-annually ASRE international conference since 1986.
Building a strong Egyptian Renewable Energy industry is one of the main issues
that ESES works on. It also coordinates an international project financed by
the United Nation Global Environment Facility for the design and manufacture of wind
pumps used for pumping water for irrigation, land reclamation and drinking water
supply.
The society represents the Egyptian National Section of the International Solar Energy
Society (ISES).
